A: Five to adult.

A: Six is the youngest child reported to us. She was a Montessori student from age two. She is the exception.

Q: The books sound long at 197 pages and 325 pages for the second book. Why are they so long?
A: The books are not meant to read in one sitting.
A: Most of the chapters are very short. Sometimes four or five pages.
A: There is a space in between each line of narrative and each space of dialog. If that space were taken out the books would be shorter, but the space is a design feature that the beginning reader finds encouraging, and the more advanced reader finds refreshing.
A: Pengey Two at 325 pages is broken up into three separate and distinct parts. Parts one and two build to the 186 page finally.
